Third Avenue United Church:

The Cathedral of Methodism, built circa 1912, is the third largest sanctuary of the United Church of Canada. Made from solid stone, the English designed gothic church is located just outside the University grounds. Three large stained-glass windows with life-size figures are a special feature of the sanctuary depicting the Nativity, the Sermon on the Mount and the Last Supper. The church features a Casavant three manual pipe organ complete with 39 stops, over 2400 pipes and 20 bells. The dark reddish-brown pews of oak and elm with carved end panels complement the church’s divine appeal and make this a beautiful Saskatoon attraction.

The public transit system offers a convenient schedule for visitors to access all the things to do in the city of Saskatoon. The system offers a “click and go” option to check routes and times. Buses can also be chartered for large groups and there are services for visitors with special needs. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is a relatively small city and easy to get around by foot or bicycle.
