Though sunny, the city has extreme seasons because of its northern location, so you will want to check out the weather before you go. In the summer, Edmonton is warm enough to enjoy the sunshine but temperatures tend to cool in the evening, so bring a jacket. From November to March temperatures can be very cold, and with the wind chill factor it can often feel much colder, so be prepared to bundle up. Many Edmonton activities are held outdoors all year round so dress accordingly and enjoy all the culture, music and great sport events Edmonton has to offer.
